"This image entitled, "Obedience And The Gifts" is from the series, The Three Chapters Of Illumination. The series represents a metaphorical journey towards a liberated life. As this personal passage paralleled a creative one, the symbolic icon of the wolf throughout the work typifies the temptation to be driven by fear and it's potential to control a life. Three Chapters embodies a transformation from this bondage, freely encompassing mood and the message of hope. From bondage to spiritual faith, from spiritual faith to great courage; from great courage to liberty."
